Nice.

Interesting, a "local" hat maker to the British Isles. Looks like a cool logo on the sweat as well. Cool hat.

Great work hat!

Gotta love blue felt! Looks good, Karl!

At work in the rain so wearing my beater stagecoach. Bought it from a thrift shop. This thing has some stories. View attachment 84072
Fabulous beater, Revenger!

Great!!! Seriously. There is a couple oil stains on it. The brim has a swoop to it. But it's formed to a perfect fit that keeps me dry and shaded on a daily basis.
I took the liner out and thought about putting air holes, but decided to leave it as is.

This is the first montecristi Panama that I purchased from eBay. They used to come up fairly frequently and sell reasonably in smaller sizes. I like the dimensions and blocking in this one... narrow flat brim and tall crown. It came in a Kaufmann's box with a L.C. Rossen shipping label affixed. I believe the hat was "rossenized" early in its life - perhaps adding a new sweatband and frayed ribbon. The straw shows the patina of many summers of wear but remains flexible and strong enough to last another century or so.
