"Total" garbage. A nothing burger.

Wow... sorry it wasn't good for you Bob. I am in SW Kentucky. We had 2 minutes 20 seconds of totality. It was the most incredible natural phenomenon I have seen. Temperature was in the 90s and it was very humid. There were problematic cumulus clouds during the first half hour of the eclipse. As the moon covered more of the sun the temperature dropped (15 degrees by totality) and the big clouds were euthanized by the changes. That added to the emotion as I had been sweating the forecast for days. I will share photos and describe more when I return home. I brought one hat - a Stetson balibuntal, but I only wore it at night. A Tilley badly in need of a bath was on my head during the day.

Thanks Alan. I really thought 68%-70% would bring some darkness. Hazy slightly overcast skies cut down on the degree of light change but all in all it wasnt even as dark as a large thunderhead moving across the sun. The eclipse glasses cut down the glare and help define the eclipse shadow so at least that was interesting. Look forward to year totality pictures. We're they done though your telescope?

Big presentation today for the OSU Alumni Association. I will be talking about our oral history project with clips from famous alumni. Since the Gannon was still out of it's box, I decided to brave the predicted temperatures.
1940s vintage tie I picked up at NW Hats. View attachment 83123 View attachment 83124
Doing some serious stylin' today Red. Great hat, great outfit, and I'm sure, great presentation.
