I received two compliments from older black gentlemen today (different times, different places) on my hat, both asking me where I got it. One of them said he had a hat like that a long time ago. It's always nice to have genuine compliments like that.

An Open Road with a triple stitched brim instead of a bound brim! With a 5/8" grosgrain, and the right bow and 'fore and aft' bash and you'd have a nice M1883 Campaign Hat, Douglas. I much approve.
