Keep cool in that one, Bob! It looks great!
Thanks Doug! You're knocking that Falcon Park right out of the ... uh ... park.

Ok Michael you are showing off today! Love it!Unfortunately it was a very un-shroomy day. But a spot of rain cooled it down enough for me to try on some clothes in anticipation of autumn weather.

Looking sharp, Jeremy.View attachment 77208 View attachment 77207 View attachment 77206 Back to work today after a couple of days off spent with my father. Wanted to give my recently acquired 40s era Etchison a go before I send her off to Mike Miller for a new sweat and ever so slight of a stretch.
Thank you very much sir!Looking sharp, Jeremy.
Great hat, Bob. Very unique ribbon.Bee Cool...
Thanks Justin. The Stratton is a good woods hat. A couple of super looks for you today.Suits you well, good luck!
I wonder if they make a supercharged calabash shaped vaping machine? Although silhouette pictures aside, I seem to remember Sherlock preferred a long clay pipe. You need a Calabash pipe with that deerstalker cap, Michael.
Thanks Doug. Some variant of this outfit is my go to woodlands outfit. The pants are thornproof and shed water too. What a great 'shroomin' outfit! Go Stratton!
Thanks Red. Due to the lack of luck with the Stratton today I will have to go with the Stetson Nutria NPS Ranger hat next time, temperatures permitting.Ranger 'shroom!
I'm sure it will be a long time before the hot weather is gone here. But I was just getting ready to take the cape to the dry cleaners and wanted to see what it looked like. Great Falcon Park look today for you.You look to be on the hunt for something, Michael! Don't give up on hot weather on the 1st day of summer!
On and off showers with a morning temp of around 60'F here in Minnesota. Wearing a vtg. Lee Comentator. This green hat I have had for many years. It needs to get worn more often. Lee, at the time of this hat, put factory creases in their line of hats. I bump this hat and it pops right back to the factory crease. Lovely green felt.

Ha ha. I just got that cape and wanted to see what it looked like. It's a well bug chewed old thing, but holds some interest for me as a possible pattern for a new one. I've always wanted an Inverness, but this will do for the moment.Ok Michael you are showing off today! Love it!
Actor Jeremy Brett is probably most known & liked for the part. He chose to smoke a churchwarden but it was not Clay. He didn't wear a deerstalker cap either.Although silhouette pictures aside, I seem to remember Sherlock preferred a long clay pipe.
I'm not much of an expert in pipes having smoked only a straight briar and a corncob for the most part. I did find this reference to Holmes, https://www.quora.com/What-kinds-of...according-to-Sir-Arthur-Conan-Doyles-writings . In a vintage store sometime back I saw a couple of long white clay pipes and was tempted to pick one up, but it's a slippery slope.Actor Jeremy Brett is probably most known & liked for the part. That is one awesome looking ensemble!Unfortunately it was a very un-shroomy day. But a spot of rain cooled it down enough for me to try on some clothes in anticipation of autumn weather.
