Same Montecristi from the other day. A little different setting than usual. I have limited Internet, but from what I see, everyone is looking great.

Buenos Fridayos.

Going with the Crofut & Knapp Forty with the Guild Edge. Yippee.

With the jacket, I figure that all I need is a cane and the look I am going for will be almost complete.

I really love this look Michael. I need a searsucker jacket that is light and bright for summer. I envy you and covet your wardrobe.
Thanks Red. Gotta love some seersucker in the summertime.

Seersucker and a boater. Doesn't get anymore classic than this.

Thanks Serge. Has summer come to your neck of the woods?

Good morning and a fine morning it is here in northern Illinois. Out for a stroll on my work break around 3am. The moon lights the way. View attachment 76428
Not many moonlit photos around, kind of cool. Great looking hat that glows in the moon light.

Classic Perry, love the lines of the brim on that one.

Good morning. Out this morning in a Gannon fedora and a Pendleton Board shirt. I love cool summer mornings!

Best, Eric -
Super Gannon! I am really loving these bright and airy felt colors you have been sporting!

A papa-oom-mow-mow. Friday, and the bird is the word. Dobbs Game Bird.

Have a Fun & Fearless Friday all.

Welcome back, @mmbarnes! Been missing your posts, Matt!

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Love the Bird! Great details to enjoy with the brim stitching and that liner!

Panama Bob Monti today.

I agree, YOU are now Panama Bob! That Panama is classic, and a Cadillac Monti to boot!

Matt, I like your bowler instead of a fedora used here but this background cries out for an Old West style western hat. Where is this at again?

But Jack...

The derby IS the hat that won the West. o_O

I always used to think that the broad brimmed cowboy hat that we associate with the region had the marketplace cornered. I was surprised to learn about the derby's old west popularity, first from The Hatted Professor's research & then from my own. Here's a good article: https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=xQQpAAAAIBAJ&sjid=PkgDAAAAIBAJ&pg=7036,5636283 .

And here is Butch Cassidy and compadres...

Of course, "THE OLD WEST" was geographically huge and peopled by folks of diverse ethnic heritage. So I suspect (but of course provide no evidence [I'm lazy]) that style predominance varied depending upon locale as well as the origin, traditions, transience and tastes of the population.

Hat history is intriguing stuff.

Oh... and my hatportrait was shot at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado.

Enjoy, my friend.
