Looks great, Bob! If I had an inkling about Red's new lid I would have grabbed something with a western flavor today, too!

It was only on my head for a little while. The smallest 7 1/4 I have had. I wanted to see if I could pull off the OR look. I'm not quite sold on the idea. Brent Conformatic, 2 3/4 brim, nice felt. Overall a nice hat, just not tippy top quality.

I think I got most everyone, but if I didn't, apologies!
A banner week of spectacular headwear, and rousing returns by @Kuki (beauteous black & white!!) and of course, by the elusive but effervescent Ole, @TheDane!!

Last weekend we blessed the arrival of my second grandson! I brought two hats with me for the weekend; the VS Blue Smoke I wore during the entire time I spent in Israel, and my first fedora, from high school days. My first one (Lee private label) is seen here, with my first grandson, who's wearing a 1950-ish Royal Stetson.

After the Briss; an "action shot" with the gals gabbing, the new guy with his mother, (daughter #1) grandmother, and GREAT grandmother... and you know the ol' codger on the right...

When/if a nurse comes to you, she/he brings a nurse's kit.
When/if a doctor comes to you, she/he brings a doctor's kit.
So, when the Mohel shows up, what does he bring?

A Brisket!!
Wow, 4 great generations! Any shots from your trip to Israel??? What a lovely family, Charlie!

I grabbed the Champ this morning again. This is a pic from a warmer day than today, I think... just to copy Red's use of archival photos.

They're saying snow showers over Santiam pass today. It's rainy, windy and feels about 10 degrees colder than the current broadcast of 47F here in town! Good thing my dental appt. is in Salem... no snow there.

A morning meeting downtown found me in a black Albanian Stetson Standard Quality and my magical Camaleonte shirt, which changes color to match its surroundings.

You might wonder why the shirt takes so long to respond to a change in environment... I think it is because I stood too long in front of the Brisbane Building, which for many decades housed the famous Kleinhans Company store.

How many hats do you own with a Kleinhans sweatband imprint? I have quite a few, acquired from sellers near and far.

To the right in the downtown landscape is the old Liberty Bank Building with its twin liberty toppers. I recently came upon an old check from this bank pasted to the sidewalk near my house.
