Yesterday I finally got my chainguard and a set of fenders put onto my bicycle. I think a quick trip to the library to try them out is the order of the day.

The check out clerks and I were the only folks in the grocery store early this morning. Filson wool and a Champ lightweight shopped.

Loading up fire pit with logs for a fire this evening found me wearing a vintage Stetson Royal DeLuxe Stratoliner.

I went for a hike to check on the progress of Spring in my neighborhood. Wore a Gannon hat.

I guess they do. It's interesting to me how many people dig it. I've had several threaten to steal it. Pretty funny. But for me, if it makes someone happy, that makes me happy.

Off to a memorial picnic in the park of a longtime theater friend. My new Portis "The New Slant" will make it's debut. It is a 7 3/8, a little loose, wanted to see if I could pull it off. The felt is wonderful, very light, and touchable. This hat is a real hoot, the liner is so... "manly 50s".
