In the first months of 2017, I gave priority, on my head, to the many hats I gave to myself as gift for my birthday in late January

Today's day is uncertain and wet enough to be rainy, it is still the turn of the Borsalino "violet"

Borsalino "Qualità Extra Superiore" stitched lining. Color is "Lupo"

Brim are 5.5 cm. and crown is 11 cm. with a high ribbon 5 cm.

I like the color so much and as some others Borsalino there was a very ancient paper label detached and replaced with a new one

Thanks for the likes and appreciation you kindly gave here.
Dobbs-Panizza Thirty is one of my favourite as well this one in a real springtime "cruel" weather
Great looking hat, Daniele. I must remember to use that line as an excuse to my wife when buying hats: honey, it's almost my birthday!:)

A lovely bit of felt hat weather this morning. Unfortunately it looks like a warm up is beginning. Champ

2 3/4" raw edge brim, a tad under 6" open crown, 4 1/2 at the pinch now

And a little Scottish cloth in Harris and fair isle to accompany the Champ on my weekly grocery shopping trip this morning.

A quick scrub up after arriving home from work this morning, I'm off to vote before going to bed. (I'm still working nights.) Parts of the UK have local elections today, nothing to do with our general election next month.
While I'm out I shall have to see about getting her renewal papers. This is a euphemism for anniversary cards. It's our wedding anniversary today, but we are postponing celebrations until the weekend. But a bouquet of flowers, a box of chocolates and a bottle of bubbly won't go amiss. In case you were wondering, it's our 49th, one short of gold.

Happy Anniversary! It is our 15th today as well. We are going for a nice dinner tomorrow night and celebrating with special treats at home this evening. Super tie!! Happy days!

Beautiful color Daniele. I think my Borsalino Qualità Victoria (that arrived yesterday, thank you!) will be sporting the same crease as this one. It seems to be the bash the hat is requesting. I endeavor to look as classy as you do.

Love the Blue Borsa, Matt. I had a Mertillo pass through my hands a couple of months ago. Beautiful color in person.

You go dark, I went light. Today, I'm a Gannon man - Silvermist, that is.

Sharp as always Michael. That Champ creased up right nice!

Interesting furry guy there Karl. Detail pictures of the liner and sweat would be in order. There are some knowledgeable gurus here that could give some historical information about this beauty. I like it!!
already did in the german hat thread (-: Probably 1960s / 70s as it has no info under the leather band and no lining.
