Welcome back, Matt! Help yourself to a lil' taste of some TN White.
They would certainly be fitting in for nautical theme as well for a mountain climbing theme. I'll look forward to seeing your Stetsonian so adorned.I love the rope band! Looks nautical. I think I'll try it on my navy Stetsonian.
Looking good Zombie man. Isn't pasty white rather a requirement of the zombie trade?I wanted to participate in the joyous welcome to our returning Comrade-in-Hats Mr. Barnes, but Easter Sunday obligations prevented me from doing so until now. It's still Sunday here on the west coast of the U.S., so it counts, right?
Unfortunately this old Winston Fedora-turned-Pork Pie is the closest thing I have to a Homburg, so it will have to suffice. If it doesn't, Mea Culpa, but, y'know, it's...I...ummm, I mean...oh screw it, here's a lousy picture of me in a hat, braving the late-afternoon sun with my fish-belly-white complexion.
So welcome back Matt! Your absence was noticeable, and it's good to have your positive energy back here to inspire us. And Happy Easter to those who celebrate, and also to those who don't; I much prefer being all-inclusive.
You're rocking that stingy straw Dale. Looks like a fun day for all.A great homburg heavy batch of hats today. I hope all who observed the holiday had a fine one, and everyone enjoyed their Sunday. I sported a newly acquired vintage Stetson straw, and my oldest daughter wore her new Easter hat while hunting eggs earlier.

Good to see you Justin, the St. Regis is well, saintly. As you look in your habit.I've been out partying since last night but I had to stop in to welcome brother @mmbarnes back from his Lenten fast =)

And yesterday for Easter Vigil I wore the epoch 8/4 with my Franciscan habit (photo from the archives):
Looks great to me!
Looking good Zombie man...
Thank you kindly Gents! Truth be told, I'm aware the crown is too short and too tapered for my enormous cranium, but I really like the hat and it fits like a fur felt watch cap, so I wear it and enjoy it anyway.Mighty fine, Al.
Yes, I suppose it is; the "experts" call it "Pallor Mortis". But I think I have my Irish/Scottish/English/German ancestors to thank for it....Isn't pasty white rather a requirement of the zombie trade?
Happy Easter my Peeps.

Thanks.OUCH !!! SHARP as a HYPO BOB !!! Looking Fantastic !!!
Yesterday's welcome back homburg festival will forever live in my mind as BURGSTOCK. That was a hoot. You guys and gals are some righteous folks. Great seeing the non-burgs, too. Everybody was on their A game.
I'm a day late to the festival with the Stetson Premier Vita-Felt.
Merry Monday.
There's something rather biblical about that fine set of whiskers that you have grown. I wore a beard for almost 40 years, it was for the sake of vanity, I did it to cover the mole on my chin. Come advancing years and my beard turned silver, I shaved it off. Vanity again, I preferred the mole over the Santa beard.Yesterday's welcome back homburg festival will forever live in my mind as BURGSTOCK. That was a hoot.
