Hey folks!
A (very welcome) warm sunny day. A Borsalino Como that weighs 81g just seems the perfect choice.

This one has some beautiful green undertones, but after about 20 pics in various parts of the yard I realized that the sun just wasn't going to pull them out for me today. Oh well, still looks good without 'em.
Have a great day!

I do see the slightest hint of mint. Beautiful Borsalino Moe. Nice edge detail on that ample brim.

Probably a two hat day, have to go to a memorial service later. Today for a trip out for food supplies, I dusted off a hat that needs more head time. My Dobbs Twenty, guild edge. With a 2 1/4" brim, it is later in the 50s I suppose. The Dobbs logo with the carriage and guild edge stamps are crisp and clear. Nice felt on the twenty, I wonder how it compares with all the other $20 hats?

Co-moe!

Out and about on Saturday errands. Switched to the Moss Green Gannon and busted out my first Aloha shirt of the spring. Because, as Matt sez, SUNSHINE!

Sitting by the river taking a break in the Chevy by the levee.

Good afternoon. Coaching this morning at the USA-Gymnastics MN State Championships found me heading out in a Cordova Cap. I lightened this pic up as it was nearly dark when I left the house.

Home finally and just completed a dog walk. I started out in my vtg. Stetson Sovereign Twenty (Mode Edge). Came home after only a block and changed to a cap. The winds off the lake made a cap and Pendleton a better combo.

Love the shoes, especially, but the rest is nice, as well.
You are too kind my friend, thank you.

A very well put together gentleman! Love the shoes!
You know the: How do folks react to your wearing a hat thread? My shoes get far more comments than any of my hats, even more than Esther's finest. Thank you too, good Sir.

That's exactly what a young guy said to me today. He looked an aggressive sort, and the way he came up to me, I thought he was going to demand money, but all he did was wave his hand expressively, and said: "Man, you've got style."

Hot diggedy, sir! Fabulous suit from head toes!
Hot diggedy yourself, you can knock Mr Perry, Hot Diggedy, Como into a cocked hat.

There's just about ten weeks left of working nights, (I've been covering a guy who has been put on light duties by his doctor for a year,) now he's just got through a tough medical. He still has to have a scan but it looks like he will be back to his former job soon.
Every morning I get home at six am, check up on the What Hat thread, have a bite to eat, read the newspaper, take a shower and off to bed. Looks like I'll be back in the land of the living before too long.
