Hey all!
Great day for a fuzzy Borsalino that made it's way to me from Verona. Thanks Daniele!

The shirt is Italian too!
Have a great day.

Sent from thin air using electricity and other wizardry.
The one I posted today was from Daniele, too. I remember it amongst the pictures de sent me. Yours has the overwelt, mine did not. Very similar. NICE LID!

Cristina, they look great and you see great. Sounds like a win-win. Nice hat too! and great photos. If you are like me you will need 3 or 5 pair of reading glasses. I'm constantly hiding them from myself.

Michael
Yes. I'm like you! Already have reading glasses in every corner. Some with more magnification for sewing, so I can have the needle and thread before my nose and be able to thread it!

Heh. I think I have a pair in every room in the house. And several jackets. And my car.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Hahaha, seems to be a common problem for us absent minded people!

Some day, I'm sure I'll need glasses and I'm looking forward to finally looking smarter.
That was my hope, not sure it has worked though ;-)

Spring day with thunder later. Maybe. Biltmore Manhattan

Here's to spring,

That Biltmore has the perfect proportions, I love it!

You look beautiful Esther!!

It's so nice to see you back, and with your new glasses and amongst the gargoyles! I have two pair of glasses. One for walking around and riving, etc., and one the doc calls desk, or cubicle, glasses. These help me better to see things that sit at arms length, and to work on the computer. Anything more than about 8 feet away is blurry... sometimes I go walking and realize I have on the wrong glasses!
Ouch! Fortunately I can function perfectly without glasses, and I think it will take a while for me to get used to them, but it's still like a little miracle when I put them on and the world is no longer slightly fuzzy!

This one hasn't gotten near enough head time of late. A rebuild/cleanup I completed last year. The body and ribbon are Barclay. The sweatband and liner are from Bond. The refurb is Fruno. The hat likely originally dates from the 40s.

What a pristine example of these beautiful vintage Borso's, Anthony!

Everybody should have one of these thinny-thin light hats. They are a delight to wear and are always out ready to go at a moments notice at my house. Think I'll wear mine tonight!

Boy Tommy , I slobber looking at these beauties . Tough to snag a vintage , and I really like the guys at Bencraft and Del Montico's , but I would prefer a 2 3/4" Brim . Whats the open Crown measurements of the Alessandria ? Love yours man , Ant's too . They look juicy . Alan's (these two) freak me out , too ...

Yes, Alan has some beauties! I've got 3 of the vintage myself

brims on these are 2 5/8, 2 7/8 and 2 3/4 respectively. The new Alessandrias I have are only 2 1/2

I waited years for these to come along then snagged these 3 withen 1 year of each other
