Beautiful! That brim treatment's special and the matching houndstooth scraf is perfect.

Part of my prize for winning best hat micro story was a hat, house brand, of Sombrereria Albiñana who organizes the event. A very basic wool hat, with a very basic finish (ribbon gapes open and the lining is a blinding white polyester satin and the bow has issues. Still free is free, and it came with a useful Stetson box.
What are delightful are the bookmarks they printed with the winning story, I love them!

I've just been running errands, paying bills, went to the courthouse to review a file for a co-worker who was surprised by a writ of garnishment. Grabbed copies and argued with the court clerk about post judgment interest and the proof of service... seems they changed the law a few years ago regarding the interest without sending me any notice whatsoever. How rude!

Wearing a sweet black cherry "Rofolfo" from Michael Gannon somehow makes it all A-OK!

I had this longhair beaver felt out to wear today and then it started snowing. So I switched coats and wore it anyway.

I wore something a bit different today, nameless 1950s fur felt hat. My grandmother, who learned to make hats in the late 40s - early 50s, always says a lady's hat should tilt to the right, but not too far or it looks common. So at the risk of looking common...

For this rare, rainy, Texas day, my 1960s Resistol western knock-around "truck hat" (where it stays). The original "leather" sweatband desentigated on a hike a few years ago, but Texas Hatters replaced it with a real leather one for me.
