How cool is that?! Congratulations Cristina, I really liked your micro-story, a well-deserved win! Have you got some spare bookmarks for us too?Part of my prize for winning best hat micro story was a hat, house brand, of Sombrereria Albiñana who organizes the event. A very basic wool hat, with a very basic finish (ribbon gapes open and the lining is a blinding white polyester satin and the bow has issues. Still free is free, and it came with a useful Stetson box.
What are delightful are the bookmarks they printed with the winning story, I love them!

Stunning loden, Steve! That bow's fantastic.J. Hückel´s Söhne Standard "Loden"
Amazing colour, so rich... A hat makes any day betterI've just been running errands, paying bills, went to the courthouse to review a file for a co-worker who was surprised by a writ of garnishment. Grabbed copies and argued with the court clerk about post judgment interest and the proof of service... seems they changed the law a few years ago regarding the interest without sending me any notice whatsoever. How rude!
Wearing a sweet black cherry "Rofolfo" from Michael Gannon somehow makes it all A-OK!
Where do you keep finding these treasures, Alan? That longhair is so beautiful...I had this longhair beaver felt out to wear today and then it started snowing. So I switched coats and wore it anyway.
You're looking very sharp! Great hat, perfectly proportioned for your face.WHO can keep up with you amazing people?!! Fantastic hats ALL week!

I wore something a bit different today, nameless 1950s fur felt hat. My grandmother, who learned to make hats in the late 40s - early 50s, always says a lady's hat should tilt to the right, but not too far or it looks common. So at the risk of looking common...
Hey folks!
Late post today, as somebody crashed their car into a power pole that serves about 2500 customers in my town. Power just came back on, so of course the Lounge is my first priority!
Borsalino Colombo Velour.
Have a great day!
