Part of my prize for winning best hat micro story was a hat, house brand, of Sombrereria Albiñana who organizes the event. A very basic wool hat, with a very basic finish (ribbon gapes open and the lining is a blinding white polyester satin and the bow has issues. Still free is free, and it came with a useful Stetson box.
What are delightful are the bookmarks they printed with the winning story, I love them!

I feel like some exercise today. Maybe an early turkey hunt?

Have a good one,
Michael

Love those boots, but feel One would need a valet to tie those on (or a strong lower back). Anyway, always a joy looking a you, Michael.

Hey folks!
The sun has gone, and another storm is on the way. At least it was dry long enough for my front door to unswell and unstick itself.
Going for French Friday with this Flechet Haut Luxe in the "Diplomatique" style.

Hmmm...French fries sound good right now. I must procure some soon.
Have a great day!

Great GC, Mike! But, according to a turkey expert on the radio this morning, they have good color perception, and WILL see your trousers. The turkey guru was on to discuss this wild Wild Turkey scene here in Massachusetts.
What the...?
I watched it a couple of times and I'm still not sure exactly what I was watching.
I mean, I SAW the turkeys walking in a ring around the cat, but is that something turkeys do? Is it in preparation to do something else, like dive in and start pecking at the cat? That was honestly a first for me.

Even the wild turkey expert (on the radio this morning) was amazed, and without an explanation.

Thanks Charlie. It's the shadow plaid that confuses them.;)

Awesome hat, jacket, boots and all!
Thanks Doug. I decided to have a vintage day. Everything but the hat should have been from around 1960 or earlier, with the pants and jacket being more like 1950. Maybe the boots too.

Thanks Kuki. They are definitely not the boots one would choose if a fire alarm was sounding. Or if you were on a hot date. Ha ha. I keep thinking I need a Jeeves to counterbalance my inner Bertie, but they are so very hard to find nowadays. Ha ha.

Thanks all,
Michael
