Happy birthday! I hope work wasn't too bad and you've got something nice planned when you finish :)

Very nice hat, great outfit, very well coordinated. Hope you managed to keep yourself warm!

That homburg really is an interesting shape. I really the finish a lot, it looks so soft and it's such a beautiful deep black.
At least the king of Verona wears a hat ;)

Looking good as ever! I especially like the fabric of your suit.
Thank you, Celia. It is quite a comfortable garment.

Hey people!
The sun has returned and the wind has died down to a gentle breeze. Wearing my Borsalino Como and an Italian polo to enjoy not being hailed on.

Have a great day!

Sent from thin air using electricity and other wizardry.
Great one Moe. Great color, nice large brim and that casually stylish something that Italians do so well.

I'm making this face because I'm working on my birthday. At least the morning was a bit different with a meeting at the retail store across town. Wearing an old 3X OR.
Happy birthday Bob and just so that you know, you share your birthday with someone very important..................................
My missus, she was born in 1950, you do the sums.

Thanks, Red! The lapel pin is a Paul Harris Fellow Rotary Club pin. Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary in 1905, considered the world's first international service club. Paul Harris fellows are individuals who have donated a certain amount of money to the national foundation. Every Thursday I have a Rotary club meeting and today I had to make a presentation on behalf of the club, so I had to be in uniform.
I am impressed. As a Junior Chamber of Commerce International Senator awarded in the 1990s, I know what an honor it must be to wear such a lapel pin to represent your service. I do know that Rotary is the oldest of the service clubs, the Jaycees were formed in the early 1920s. A while back I researched the service organization movement in the early century and remember reading about Rotary. The 4-H movement has origins in the same year.

Yes, I did. Dropped some change on a brown light weight suit coat to go with my new brown Homburg coming from Matt and a nice light grey suit to go with my "Olcott" custom Homburg. All American made, Oscar my Haberdasher only carries the best. It is really great to have an establishment like this in my town, I can sit down for a shoe shine and great conversation and browse all kinds of fine men's clothing and accessories. It was very enjoyable. Saved over $400, but spent more than my wife knows yet.

Nice! Sounds like a great place. Pretty sure those shops closed a long time ago here in The Netherlands.

We have Primark and H&M [emoji20]

These photos are made early in the morning going to the office.
Today traditional, special food for the Friday of the dumplings, not specified as not to offend the sensibilities of animal lovers, then parade of floats with the popular masks.
Yesterday was the Thursday before Lent, today the feast of St. Zeno district, patron of the town

For the morning walk wearing a French hat vintage as wine, Italian, drink today

It is a Thibet made for the Meer hats shop in Stasbourg

I believe this is one of the rare hats I possess that can come from before the Second World War

It is made of mixed felt, wool and fur in a deep blue. Without lining

Its dimensions are generous and very comfortable

I thank you for your compliment and comments on homburg Tonak, worn yesterday.
For the parade I will will wear a Borsalino more small proportions
The day was very gray and my hope, like that of all the people of Verona, is that the rain remains in the sky.
