Wow, some truly outstanding hats here today and last night, I feel like I'm slumming it wearing the same furry hat 3 days in a row because of the cold and snow. My excuse is I needed something to cover my ears.

Went to the local antiques fair today hoping to find a nice hat, but was disappointed. The only decent one on sale was an old Borsalino with original box, but unfortunately it was 2 sizes too large for me and too expensive to buy just to sit in the box and be pretty. I did pop it on my head for a minute just to make sure it didn't fit, so I've decided it belongs in this thread, as I did technically wear it.

Too many great hats since I last checked this place, and no time to comment on all of them individually, so you'll have to do with the like button. A few comments anyway:

Resistol kitten finish. My favorite hat. Paired up with some Harris tweed.
And my nephew in a very small 50s "custom" fedora I scooped up for a dollar.

Better late than never, it is still today for a little while. A multiple hat extravaganza day. Took my wife down to NW Hats to pick up my new creation from Mike, and she got measured for a hat. Now the decision process begins, at least there is a spark. Mike not only had my Olcott Homburg done, but some refurb work as well. He reblocked, flanged and put in a new sweat on a Royal Deluxe Stetson that my ham handed attempts at stretching made it look like it had a dunce cap taper. He also restored a Christy's Bowler that had a trashed liner and sweat. Now I have two more daily drivers. Got home and had to take a 3 hour nap to recover. Sorry for the delayed post. This is a 1930s hat.Sweatband stitching rotted away so I took out the liner .I can't remember the brand.

Love this picture, you two look great together. Beautiful dog. Your hat's nice too of course.

It's clear and cold here. Down to 14F last night. Off to church in my Christmas present, a custom Penman Steel beaver felt fedora.
