Good afternoon, back from supervising construction going on in the gym. Needing a break I took a dog walk in the warmest temps in a long time. It has warmed up to 7'F. Wearing a Gannon Wanderer (silver belly /charcoal).

No snow here yet, but it's colder now... be safe, friends!

Excellent head covers today! That Stetson 20 is excellent!
After a couple hours of steady ice coming down, we looked like a glazed doughnut! Now we have had HEAVY snow since this morning. Of course most of our mid-west friends think we are wimps! But it is still snowing to beat the damn as of 1:00pm

It's started here, about an inch. Sirens already going off.
To make it an official post for this thread, I admit to taking these pictures (about 11:00am) while wearing a hat. In defiance of the freezing rain and snow, I stood on our frozen deck wearing my cheapo Dobbs poly straw (water proof probably...) My koi pond has completely frozen over, except where the waterfall pours in. The fish are hunkered down like the wife and I.

The Frunoliner looks stellar! The ribbon does the same for it as the blue does for my 3XBQ...really gives it a unique look.
One thing it still needs is a tiny Frank Zappa pin.

If you find one, let me know. A little 'stache pin would be great. Wish I could find a 'stache window sticker.

So far, 3 Bluegrass Green Camp Drafts... :)

You didn't forward me the memo. I was up all night looking for it...

Mmmm...doughnuts...

That's it. I need a Fruno-liner!

For now, there is only one.

I love it
Nice to hear it. Would you by any chance be amenable to accepting about 2 to 3 inches of snow? I've got some lying around here and was wondering if you could give it a home? Let me know and I can start packing it up for you. Also, I will need your address so I can be certain I'm sending it to the proper person. Again, I'd like to thank you in advance.

That coat looks plenty warm and goes with the hat perfectly.
Thanks Jack. The coat was plenty warm, the hat not so much. I was longing for my shearling hat.

Gee whiz, Michael, you look great EVERY DOGGONE DAY! Very sharp, sir!
Thanks FedO. Hope you are weathering your bad weather with ease and comfort.

Thats a great Cap Michael !!

Thanks Rodolfo. I was very happy to run across the deerstalker. If I recall the story correctly it was made by a small weaving mill that also ran a shop where they made up the cloth into country wear. Sadly they are now only a page in the history book.

Great hats today, and cold cold weather from what I see! Not in Barcelona where it was mild today (balmy compared to most of you guys!)

Balmy is good. Very nice hat Cristina. And looks like a great outfit to go with it. That brim binding looks very shiny, almost like leather. Which brings me to a question, have you ever bound a brim with garment leather?
