Alan, Great picture. Has 60's casual written all over it! :D
JT, Great job on that 4X Stetson. With a different crown block it would be a swell fedora but it looks good as blocked. The Gusdora may find it's way into FL lore. Who knows? [huh]

J.T., we are going to have to get you a church outside of Texas so we can get you out of those cowboy hats. (Just kidding):p

ScottF -- that Playboy suits you to a "T." Looks great! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Thanks guys. I normally kind of despise mackerel, but I was given two and asked to grill them. They were GREAT. And the Playboy is the only hat I've worn since it arrived - might end up being a summer exclusive.

Hey Scott. Nice how ya wore a hat that matches your fish :p :D
Both look great in that great pic.

My dad grew up in Bummertown and a lot, if not most, my family (brother, sister, parents, uncles, aunts, yada, yada) is up that way.

For me today, same ol' same ol', Akubra Hayman and an aloha shirt. But posted to comment on Scott's pic and
JtL, nice shirts/lid combo too!!!

Ah Jimmy, you got me again, my dear! I go off to play on other FL threads for a bit, and then I come back to hats pics like this... sigh. Fabulous hat, sir! Where from please...

I really gotta try and get caught up on this thread from the last couple of days! Hopefully very soon- its a busy weekend here tho...

Watched "Notorious" last night for a date nite at home with my husband, Cary Grant or anyone else of the men in the film rarely had a hat on! Boohoo... the film came out in 1946, so I was hoping to see lots of cool fedoras.

BradBowers, this is a great hat on you and in these pics you look like the real deal from the old days. Would love to see these done as Black and White pics. Especially that pretending to operate picture.

My mother-in-law is visiting, so we drove up to Cripple Creek today, and I wore my 1920s Dobbs Derby.

And since derbies were a working man's hat in the Wild West, here's an action shot in the remains of the hoist house, operating the drum hoist. Okay, pretending to operate...

WHAT a PERFECT 'summertime and the livin' is easy' look! That is one very sharp hat! AlanC is this is not a new hat? How old is it?

Thanks. I got it last year off ebay. It's probably 1960s vintage, I would guess.
