In the month I've had my Gannon, I don't think there's been a day that has went by that I haven't had it on.

I know how you feel. I got a bespoke several months ago from Gus Miller at Batsakes. That thing touches my head about every day, no matter what else I wear.

I have, and Perry, I respectfully disagree. I still think she looks great. She's still on my "List." You know, the laminated one.

Just returned from picking up last minute needs. You know, Christmas ham, extra sour cream for latkes, Hanukkah candles...

Y'all have really been bringing the A game this week with the fine lids and witty conversation.

No work today. I couldn't sleep last night. It's tough going with MrsFed away visiting her family in Guayaquil. I was going up to see family in the Seattle area this weekend, but my daughter asked me to go to lunch today and then invited me over for Christmas breakfast, so I'm staying in town.

I'm thinking about dressing up a little for lunch and breaking out the Disney today.

I really need some cowboy hats like that. Is the brim shorter than a normal cowboy hat ?

Sonero, hats of this style are usually referred to as "western style". The brims can range from 2 1/4" to almost 3". This particular one is 2 5/8" and the crease is called the "cattleman". Most cowboy hats will be 3" wide or more. Find yourself one, the crease is one of my favorites and I bet you would look good in it. Stetson made these hats famous with their Open Road hat, mine being a Resistol would be referred to as an OR clone by most.

In this corner of the world they're called madalenas (or magdalenas), but unfortunately they get called muffins more and more, which often makes me want to punch people (particularly when a salesperson "corrects" me).
You're safe Frunobulax, no punching friends.

You can punch me, as long as you sooth my pain with madalenas. And ice cold milk. [emoji4]

Gotta love this zany California weather. Goes from dark, gloomy and raining all morning into the early afternoon, then boom! Sun and blue skies and cheer. And an older Young's from the 40's to go grab an almost last-minute gift.

Ah, the holidays. Seems like the more I think I'm ready, the less I really am. :)
