Thanks Serge. I really get a kick out shooting portraits of hats out in the world (too bad that won't replace my day job).

The ribbon is 2 1/4 inches (so not quite as tall as you are going for) I think that it looks taller since the brim is just 2 inches.

That does look like a beautiful day, lovely pics. Do I spot a back bow on that hat?

I do wear a size 56, and have come across some nice velours in Germany and Austria, but they tend to be trachten models, while I would like something more formal like yours (and preferably affordable too, which may be a problem).

I will let you know when I come across something.
