Excellent hats all around. Wore the Justin 4x western to see Allied flick starring Brad Pitt. MrsFed wore her 60's Stetson stingy brim. Good movie with lots of nice lids. Especially liked Pitt's fedora.

I ain't going to eBay again until I win the lottery or get my fingers chopped off and, as the result, can't enter payment information. Damned hat monkey tryin'to bleed me dry. Glad I didn't see that! Avoiding bidding would have been extraordinarily painful.

Because I am a doofus, when yesterday I saw bowlerman's sweet post with the liner from his Finchley Establishment originated derby, I decided that today I'd wear my '50s C&K homburg sold out of their Chicago location. Thanks for directing me towards wearing this hat today, Jeff.

I love the colors on this thing. Reminds me of outer space. Cosmic...

Last evening, we returned to VB and I am now off to rescue our dogs after their two days of compulsory meditation at the kennel. Hopefully, their period of reflection has brought each of them closer to puppy nirvana.

Good morning. Our mild winter weather is stopping the ice from forming on the lake. I have been down by the lakeshore watching the local ducks enjoying clear feeding.

It's the bowlers man... You've got some exceptional examples. I remember seeing one brown vented one you were wearing one day, probably a couple of years ago. It is so darned hard to find a good vintage brown derby in 7 1/4 or 7 3/8. You've got some crazy gray ones, too, right? Just awesome....

Thanks dude! Yeah, I have some pretty cool examples. The non-black ones don't come around too often, and I like those more. You're probably thinking of my tall brown Knox vented derby. I have had a grey one, but sold it awhile back. It was a soft-ish Dobbs from the 60s. I've found that the right custom hatters can do a great job in lots of colors, which helps when I have the luxury of saving up!
