Hey folks!
A gusty, dark day with intermittant rain showers. I have been puttering about the house enjoying coffee and also enjoying not being outside. But, an empty milk carton tells me that go outside I must. Under this snug warm and fuzzy (not to mention funky) shorty by Jay Lord that I got from some well-hatted guy with an odd sense of humor in Dayton. Thanks Fruno!

Off to brave the elements I go.

54F and clear here, sun poking through the clouds. I ran out for a few more errands today and grabbed the NW Hats outback conversion of my old Stratton western. I love this hat, especially since Mike reblocked it to fit my egg-head.

Got around to shaping up this Dorer a bit last night and it was cool enough today to break out the vintage Pendleton High Grade Western Wear.

Nice Coober Pedy. I have one in Sand. Unfortunately, it's been sitting on the sidelines since I got my NW Hats conversion done. I better get her out again before she gets jealous!

Gabe and I went kickin' around a local antique mall and went full-throttle jack-ass mode.

Took some hats (well, sort of) for a couple of test drives. Sadly, no purchases made (but for self-evident reasons)

1. A strange pith helmet shaped straw thingy with a profoundly groovy ribbon that really ties the whole thing together:

2. A reproduction Spartan helmet (it's a hat, sort of, right? ). I tried it both without and with the Stetsonian:

Happily, the proprietors neither called the police nor asked us to leave the establishment. [emoji2] Good Times!!! Have a great Saturday evening, folks.
