Bittersweet as my Dad (his memory robbed by Alzheimers) has been a Cub fan since the 1930s (he was born in Oak Park, IL). I asked Mom if he might want to watch the game with me, but professional sports has been a sore spot for him these last few years so I was on my own.

You might not know it, but this one was for you Dad. Way to go Cubs!

This is the Raiders hat my friends. The penman raiders that is.
I love the 100% beaver hat that Steve Delk made me a few years ago. But since have had it reblocked in John Penmans raiders block after having one of this Adventurebilt Legacy hats in rabbit. I loved the block shape so much.
Now I have a penman raiders too in what John told me was 100% beaver. It definitely has a longer nap than my one from Steve Delk but it feels very nice and is floppy enough without being too flimsy.
If you guys are seeking a (in my opinion) very SA block shape then look to the penman raiders. I bashed this one myself and continue to tweak it.
My Adventurebilt has taken on a hybrid of the raiders and "my" look which is cool too.

@EstherWeis, Are the ceilings really low which make it seem as though your car roof will tear off as you drive under each support beam?
When we lived in Malaysia years ago that's how the parking facilities were. And I had to drive a mitubishi van. Talk about nervous.
Love the blue color on that one.

Wonder which team Pete Rose put his money on? I couldn't believe Fox brought him back this yr.

Well, he picked Cleveland before the game last night, so...

The color guys on Fox pregame were a real treat. First you had A-Rod, overdressed and trying too hard, like a politician in his first campaign - he looked like he was auditioning for a job. Frank Thomas was more than competent, and I enjoyed his commentary (though it's like watching a mountain talk). Pete was hilarious. "Screw it, I'm Pete Rose, I'll just throw out random observations!"
