I really dislike the word "vintage" unless speaking of the actual year or era something is from ... such as ... "what I am wearing is of 40s vintage"How old must it be to be considered Vintage, Blue? It's possible most of my clothes are vintage!
Hah! I guess if we go by car standards, then twenty-five years? How old must it be to be considered Vintage, Blue? It's possible most of my clothes are vintage!

saying something is "vintage" doesn't really mean anything ... to me anyway

I picked up 3 new straws "Palma" in Tijuana recently. Some are surprisingly well made. This first one is the most interesting $17. It came with a cheap elastic band but I dressed it up with matching rope. Sometimes they sell these hats with just the rope around the hat...muy vaquero (cowboy).
Don't know if I would go to the mall dressed like this but for the beach or a tropical vacation....could be fun....JAMAICA in the spring time perhaps.

In reference to clothing, I usually interpret the word "vintage" to mean pre-1980's but pretty soon, 1990's garments will be considered "vintage"! I wonder what that will feel like seeing BUM pants and Sinbad shirts listed as vintage on ebay...
agreed ... that is completely ridiculous80? 90s? Sorry, if I was already out of High School, I can't consider it vintage.
