Brüder Böhm "Luxor" probably late 1930s. This one is made of wool which was common for the time and place. I have only come across two B.B. Soft Felts in my size after looking for years. This one is from my May 2016 Czech find.

The hat was not stretched. I believe the sweatband is made of a coated canvas.

Sweet hat Greg. Another one I would wear.

I love it when a hat is that soft. I have one I can crease while wearing it if needed.

Thank you, Esther. You're only contributing to my addiction.

Looks perfect on you, bud!!

Thanks, Harv. That Wellema you're sporting today is one fine looking hat. Great proportions and the colors look outstanding on you. If you're like me, good luck keeping it clean.

Oh I see... Well, her wool quality may be a sub-fino sort of quality as well, though I haven't personally ordered one. It certainly is more inexpensive! You save ten bucks on the hat. Either way, if you order from her again -- whether fur or wool -- I would recommend asking her to leave the crown un-stiffened. It's likely that the stiffening they add to their dress hats contributes to the costumey feel of the product. I personally love the gray hommie I got from her -- might be time to order one in another color! Oh shoot -- now when I want a new hat, I have to ask my wife's permission first =)
You had better get used to that!

By trying to steal your hats? :)
Of all the outstanding examples here I feel like yours are the one I'd like to "steal" the most.

Well, Alan's... I think my heart would skip a few beats if I'd ever get a peek at his collection.
Bows are all on the wrong side though ;)

I'm sorry to be so boring but this hat ain't leaving my head.
It fits like a glove and so light I forget I'm actually wearing it.

glad you dissected the street lingo :)

You should visit my town, Moon, where my kids grew up and graduated from high school. The demography keeps me somewhat in tune.
