Well, not as hot as predicted. Gave me a chance to test drive a Frank Lloyd Wright necktie. But that required a different hat. So a Park Plaza milan to finish out the day.

What part in the UK you have been?

Joao, three days in Edinburgh, three in Harwich (my hometown where one of my daughters lives - the other lives in NYC) and one day in Woking where my dad and sister live.

I wonder why they always make the brims so floppy... She looks great in it but I just notice that theme in women's hats

Esther, it seems that women's hats around here are either floppy like this one, or really stiff with felt like cardboard.

Caren has a beaver felt hat that Art Fawcett made for her that she rarely wears because she thinks it isn't floppy enough.
