My father is a sound designer.
He makes art with sound. They met through mutual friends.
They played around with some stuff and my dad did some of his recordings.
I met him briefly after a concert appearance here in Antwerp. Still to this day the most bone chilling concert I've seen.
I grew up listening to Toots and Miles Davis.
Thanks man!Gorgeous hat Harv !!! Gorgeous

GREAT gift eh...!!!I finally have a hat. Two hats, in fact. This is the second hat, not often worn. (It doesn't fit. I'm a 7 3/8) I was wearing the main hat to work, and a co-worker said that she had a lot of unused hats in the antic and wanted to know if I was interested. I was, and she gave this to me. Even with its faults, it is a better hat than I should have.

Saw him in concert when he was about 89. He was still a great musician and obviously enjoyed being out there. RIP Toots. It is a sad, sad day.
An amazing unique Belgian musician has sadly passed away.
I had the pleasure of meeting this man once, my father worked with him from time to time.
Sweet, kind and so very funny.
You will be missed, Toots!
It's cooled down enough to put me in the mood for an English blend so I reached for some of Bowswell's Northwoods, in an old square shanked Savinelli 512KS pot. The Sav is a favorite for English blend tobaccos.
Love the bashing and cap...!!!Good morning. Yesterday, overcast, rainy, windy had me wearing a variety of hats.
Hard rain - Akubra CD in bluegrass.

Resistol today.
most of yesterday: Tumwater silverbelly. I took some time to reblock, flange, and re-crease this one. While I enjoyed the uniqueness of the immense crown height and almost galleon-like flange, I'm finding I like wearing it more in the new slightly lower and wider diamond.
Winds are high today, might need to don something more snug/ wind-resistant.
