My weekend project, a Barclay I got of eBay a couple months ago, that was pretty much trashed. I cleaned it up and rebuilt it from the ground up. Re-blocked from 7 1/8 to 7 1/4, new sweatband (thanks for the help, Cane Rod Maker Tim!), new liner (thanks, Bond!). Removed, cleaned, and recycled the ribbon/bow. I took copious pictures, and if I get a chance to write it up, I'll start that Workshop thread I've been threatening lately. Outdoor photos are the best representation of the color. Apparently, Barclay is a French brand?
Charlie, is that one of those Maclachlan's with the fancy vented sweatband?

You wear those Homburgs very well. One of my two vintage hats is a black, back-bow Stetson Homburg. I have not yet had an occasion to wear it. It's very formal looking.Off to do grown-up things under a blueish grey Stetson Imperial homburg. Nifty brim treatment on this one.
Have a great Monday, everyone.

Thanks Jim. If memory serves me correctly, Alan has one that is its twin.Wow, that's an enviable color, Matt!
