Ernst Köln was a men's store in Köln so not sure of the maker. Really nice Antelope finish and overall form. Probably early 1960s maybe bit earlier.

Steve,

I can tell that one is a little bit to big for you, might be like a 7 1/2 wishing to be worn without padding in a nice and sunny country like Mexico.

Where do you get those stunning hats?

Thanks for sharing

If I had computer skills, on this day in particular, I would love to superimpose my face over the portrait of The Laughing Cavalier. You see, not only is today St. George's day, he's England's patron saint, it's also Shakespeare's 400th anniversary. So I thought that a hat from 1616 might be topical:

I have no such hat, nor do I have the skill to photobomb, or is that portrait bomb, the Laughing Cavalier. I do have a rather good Stetson, and a shirt depicting travel scenes. Not very Shakespeare, but I'm sure the Bard would have had a word for it.

Merry morning, folks.

After a rainy night, I am headed out for AM hijinks under the high-crown 1910s Extra Quality Knox derby originally sold in Tiffin, Ohio.

(The last shot isn't from today. The hat was kind enough to pose for me on one of my recent business trips up into the Blue Ridge.)

I hope that you each have a safe, fun & restorative weekend. [emoji3]

Happy Birthday Esther (a little late) and happy Saturday to the rest of you. I've just spent the last half hour and 40% of my phone's battery catching up on this thread. You folks are always inspiring to me.

I noticed a bit of buzz on the topics of coffee and t-shirts in the past week, so I'm having some in one on my front porch wearing a new to me stingy green Keith. Never heard of this brand before.
