Jim that hat is a dilly!

Now that's a compliment! Thank you!

Amazing hat...

Another, most notably coming from such a natty stylist as you.

SPECTACULAR show again today! With the promise of straw hats, I went into the archives showing this week last year to take a look. I was wearing my Black Sheep Hat Works "Hooper" in the flurries. There was still over a foot of snow on the ground. Today I saw the tulips in the woods!

Such a deeeeeep crease!

So Bob..
It's a cool, breezy beach night and you are partaking in some outdoor libations with close friends
Shorts, brand new zip hoodie, and a light felt..... No?

Sounds like it would look fly to me ... All in lighter colors

Yes it would fly as I would with some libations... I'd probably do an overshirt with button down collar instead of the hoodie. Since you mentioned lighter colors I'm definitely trying to find a very light bone/ivory/cream colored fur felt for those exact times.

"Dress shorts"??? Okay, I can die now, 'cause I've heard it all.

I don't wear shorts out of consideration and respect for those around me--the glare from my pale Irish-German legs would cause a sudden outbreak of blindness.
Lol. Yep. Dress vs cargo. I can go to some relatively nicer restaurants in dress shorts and a button down dress shirt but wouldn't look my best in cargos which I only wear with T's. Don't die yet Zombie!

The Silverbelly Premier Strat sounds like exactly what you are looking for

Happy Hump Day, my friends!

Esther, that is a truly Joao-worth hat right there. Stunningly impressive - you must turn some heads with that.
Matt, the Vita Felt is choice! Vita Felt means it's actually partially alive, right?
dh66 - It's been fairly warm here the past few days, but I haven't broken out a straw - yet (or shorts!)
Zombie - aren't Bermudas "dress shorts?"

(Sorry - no hats)

Fresh from being chased across the parking lot on a windy Wednesday in March - the 150th Anniversary Stetsonian sits back on my head, none the worse for the short flight it took.

Always a treat to see your hat about 15 feet in the air and 30 feet out. Dang thing needs a wind trolley!
Good save. That's the exact hat I would wear on cool summer evenings. With or WITHOUT shorts! ;)
