Happy Saturday!
Happy Saturday to you too. Tina & I are off to a photo shoot in our MG, in the cathedral city of Salisbury. We are to be photographed at three locations, one of which will be Salisbury's street market. That will generate no end of curiosity. All this fun and we are getting paid too. The photographer was at a wedding last summer, my car carried the bride to her nuptials. At her request I had dressed up in the suit that is a reproduction of my Father's demob suit that he was given at the end of his service in the WW2 conflict. The photographer was so enamoured by the car and suit he offered me today's photo shoot. (At the time he wasn't sure if his client would go ahead.)
Tina is just finishing her hair, and, as always, fashionably late, only she doesn't know that we are starting an hour after the time I told her. Sorry we don't have time to pose, I know you have seen this photo before, but this is what we are wearing and I've only got time to recycle it before we get going.

Beautiful!!
Awesome hat and superb bash!!

That's what it's all about right there .... Like you punched in the open crown and grabbed the front to put it on your head... Love it

Thank you Anthony, I appreciate that :)
I admit I love it too, feels more authentic when you put them on that way.

Even though I'm 30 some years removed, sometimes when I wake up on Saturday morning, I still feel like I should go watch cartoons... Superfriends, Looney Tunes and maybe some Land of the Lost. Weird...

Under the C&K homburg to go do sort of grown up stuff this morning.

Have a great Saturday, folks.

Great hat ... and I feel you on the cartoons.

I'll add the smurfs, Richie Rich, shirt-tales, snorks, Mr. T, Saturday Supercade, Hulk Hogan Rock & Wrestling...

Not sure if you are close to my age... (I'm early 40s)... But what you mentioned gave me flash backs of pancake syrup on my face and the shows I mentioned
...ah days gone by

Those were all great. I forgot about Mr. T. (80s pop culture was truly bizarre. Mr. T ???) Fantastic Four was awesome too. I'm 44, so I'm right there with you. Peace.

I remember in the late sixties, early seventies my favorite shows were Land of the Lost, Johnny Quest and Wild, Wild West. You can imagine my shock as the greastest shows on tv got canceled one by one!
