Thanks guys! However, I can't take credit for the bash. I purchased it from a lady whose dad owned this hat, and it has spent all these years in this shape. Its just a great hat and the color is different than the typical Open Road of its day. Its best described as a light brown with a tinge of green depending on the light. Thanks again for the compliments!

You bet I did! The poor young woman got a hat handling and storage lecture... I have to do that periodically. Unfortunatly they just don't know.

I have on my favorite house hat (being bald my head tends to get cold); A thin version of the old 6 corner hat, cabbie hat, "Gatsby" take your pick. It isn't one of the true classics but, at least it does fold over and only attach to the brim with a snap. Quite comfortable for long term wear.
