G.A. Dunn & Co. London & Provinces (made by Tonak, Czechoslovakia) "Austrian Velour" probably late 1940s. This is a very early Tonak and passed kindly to me by Daniele.

More great hats again!
Steve, that Tonak is delicious!
Daniele, really like that Tirard homburg. Another new name on me
Moon, I wish I had a Vita Felt Whippet like yours

Early 50's Whippet
Like my one Playboy this Whippet takes on a blue-ish hue in certain light

That's gorgeous, Tommy. I like the wide brim binding.

Tommy, that hat is great. Reminds me so much of my Stetsonian, only better.

Thanks for the extraordinary array of eye candy over the last few days. You all fill my days with lots of fun (and jealousy! [emoji6]).

Going with my oldest hat today: a 1910s Knox derby, from the days when Knox was sold by "Sole Agents". That's an interesting business model.

I love the high crown and tight d'orsay curl on this one. Plus, I find it exceptionally cool that the price tag with the handwritten stock number is still there after a century.

Congratulations to everyone for nearly making it to another Friday. Enjoy your Thursday.

Late edit... Can you find the derby in this photo? [emoji3]

I love to reflect on how this sturdy, durable style, once so ubiquitous among men of all classes, now (with some notable exceptions) is largely relegated to the dustbin of history. Fashion is an interesting cultural phenomenon.

Wow! Looks to be in mint condition. I really dig that high crown, too!

Just wanted to say thanks to all for the likes on yesterday's hat. Matt thanks for the comment and you brightened my day with today's offering. I must say that in the first photo it appears Charlie may be having some influence over you. :)

S4C, that Caxton of yours is one of my favorites and looks great on you.

Thanks Harv and Greg.
It is in strikingly nice condition. Not mint though. It has some wear along the brim binding and a few small stains primarily on the back of the crown. I periodically think about trying to clean those with naphtha as I think they might come out. But I fear damaging the hat (which would leave me emotionally crippled [emoji6]) . So I'm leaving it with the character that befits it's geriatric condition.

The contrails mean the UN is applying some sort of mind-altering substance to the general populace.
Undoubtedly, you are correct, Jim. Clearly, mind-altering chemtrails.

Now I know why I can't seem to stop buying old hats. It's the UN's fault! UNITED NATIONS... FROM HELL'S HEART, I STAB AT THEE!!!!

(Alright, that's enough weirdness out of me for a while.)
