Wonder why that is? Are they blocking/using different hat bodies for different vendors...?It is between 5 and 5 1/2 probably
I ordered this from DelMonico and have since handled the same hat at JJ with a taller crown ... upset me a bit

Borsalino "Yo - Yo."Harv, You inspired me to wear my Borsalino "double stringer" today
This one is the "palladio" color, kind of a light warm grey I got from Bond
if I actually used this wind cord and my hat blew off it would be dragging on the ground for sure
That's a great color, Tommy. I got my Borso from Bond, too.Harv, You inspired me to wear my Borsalino "double stringer" today

That's a great looking Champ, Greg!!On top: Had to venture out in this lovely AL weather for critical supplies (liquor store) a little while ago so I wore my Champ OR clone. The brim on this thing is stiff enough to repel hail.

On bottom: Dave Hutchins boots in waxed calf were the choice for slushy conditions.

Yeh thinkin the same thing. They must have more then one block and each and every block CANT be exactly the same.No idea Bob
But the hat that I handled at JJ was bit taller and didn't have to he taper that my hat has.
The felt was the same but if I was a betting man my money would be on a different block.
That's a great looking Champ, Greg!!
Looks great, Matt. You guys getting any snow?It became a two hatter as Friday always seems to do.
Tonight, it is the light brown Premier Knox Madison Ave for the wintery mix. View attachment 42748
And yes... I admit that I look VERY vaguely like Inspector Gadget. I am now working towards acceptance of that harsh reality.
Have a warm, safe and happy Friday night, everyone.
