Thanks very much for the generous comments... much appreciated!

I wish that Marc Chevalier's thread devoted to Oviatt's still had the photos. It is just a ghost thread now. But as Tommy suggests, Oviatt's was the destination for Hollywood's style makers in its heyday (1920s-30s). The finish and finishing of this hat are something to see and feel.

Too tough a row for me, feeling more chalant than non after a weekend of first birthday excitement (which is somewhat lost on me). Bathing in the euphoric afterglow of the party, I donned a Royal Stetson today...

Great hats today, Everyone!
Moon and 40 I live vicariously through you guys. You have vintage sized heads and can get hats I can only dream of. A lot of the regulars here and some that have moved on I've learned a lot from.

Borsalino Ta Ludora in the palladio color if I'm reading the tag right
This is a recent get from Bond. The guy finds some great hats and this is one of them. The darn wind cord wraps around this hat twice! Not sure why you would need or want that long a cord but it's there.
I thought I was the only one that had that issue with vintage Borsalino thin ribbons! It through me "for a loop" as they say! Great looking hat, Tommy!
