You take the best pictures ever!
The hats are as stunning as usual too! I've been trying out all sorts of ways to get my hats photographed, you figured that one out perfectly !

Thank you Esther for the compliment. I try to take hat pics outside as the natural light works better to showcase the nuances of the colors. I believe that the blue-green conifer background adds perspective as to the "real" color of the felt. It helps that our weather changes frequently. As to the auto - that is my way to poke fun at myself.

Thanks again to you and the others who have "liked" my pics. I DO like your pics!

Eric -

TY hatsRme. I would imagine from reading that tidbit that the Chinese are either real sticklers for the honor system (dang, wife is cheating. I must don the green hat of shame) or green hats just arent sold much there. Or maybe it's a surprise thing (sorry, honey, but I'm cheating on you *jams a green hat on hubby's head and runs away cackling madly*)
Either way, makes me glad I am of Irish and German descent, as I like green hats.
Your cattleman looks great, btw. :)
TY hatophile. I am keeping an eye out for a red feather for Christmas. :)
And, thanks for all the likes from everybody. Great feature for showing appreciation on the run.

Pandora,
Interesting that you're wearing a JW in Copenhagen. His shop is just down the street from me (well, across town) and I don't have one. Looks great. I need to pay him a visit.
By the way, my wife is Swedish and we spend a lot of time in Scandinavia. I myself am Norwegian (my screen name, Knotten, is what my Mom's family (my bestefar and bestemor) used to call me when I was a little kid in Oslo. Maybe we can drop by and say hi next time we're passing through Denmark.
You are very welcome!

The JW hat were only a cheap one-bidder found on ebay that I would use for a stretch test (stretching a 6.7/8 to a small 7 LO) to see how the brim would behave etc. before buying more expensive 6.7/8s.

Oh yes, but so very stunning.
I was amazed by the nature, so very very striking!
What also surprised me was the different culture and customs. It was a bit naive of me, but it was really different to live there.
The cold was really something else, yet again very pretty with all the snow and clear blue skies if there was some daylight.
Copenhagen is on our list, my husband sailed there once, and he absolutely loved it. He keeps talking about the pastries :)
Oh btw! That is one snazzy car!
Naivety, or what appears naïve, comes with the humanistic territory I guess.
But our Culture and customs are in many ways developing in the wrong direction I'm afraid!

Coping with the cold weather is mostly a question on how we approach it.
- Get properly dressed and tackle it head on.

Did your husband see the not so dark nights we have here in the summertime? That's a really nice feature!
