It's the special charisma of wearing the classic, like Humphrey Bogart in his times. Sometimes, men with their Fedoras got this "sway".

Got it, and again, thank you kindly, sir! But, you know, I think he was trying to be like the guys on The Fedora Lounge, but didn't realize it!

Alan you ROCK the Chamuco style!

Moon there's nothing like a Strat to get that excited about... except your l'il cutie in the back! That's a genuinely happy face, friend (BOTH of you).

Yesterday, with my grandson, who likes me until next time, then we'll start over again. I had a similar happy face to yours, Moon...and a brim up Mallory!!

This morning was the baptism of my boy Reid. As many of you know, I have a hat that is dedicated to each child. Reid's hat is a custom from Bob and Black Sheep Hat works, it is beaver felt with sahara the color and gunmetal gray the binding and ribbon. This is my sister and myself with my boy.

The hat racks of forum members are full of fine hats and caps! Well done folks.

This morning after yard chores I need to head out for a couple of the dreaded shopping errands. In the unseasonal nearly 80'F weather a linen Cordova Cap was my headgear choice.

It's great to see you smile! Though i suspect that the beautiful little lady you've got might have something to do with it :)great hats on both of you.

That's an awesome hat you've got there!
And the picture made me smile. Proud grandpa is written all over your face!

I was on a boat for most of the day, and you've seen my berets so i figured you've seen my boring face enough as is.

You guys all look totally smashing!!

Hey everyone!

Nice hats today.
The Young's twenty-five smells much less like an ashtray after a good airing-out. Nice deep side dents with that short brim are growing on me.

Great hats all weekend, guys.
Matt - I love the christening photos!

Change of pace for me this weekend - I used to be a fanatical mountain biker, but not sat on a bike for ten years or more. Decided to change that, and the new bike I ordered arrived at the local shop on Friday. Dug out my vintage (mid 90's) MTB helmet to get started again.

I can't remember the last time I rode a road oriented bike, these skinny tyres seem really strange - fast though!

Good afternoon. I actually have a few hours this afternoon to myself. Hurrah! I am taking the opportunity to un-box, un-pack, brush, and steam felts for the cool weather that is coming shortly. Warm weather means I can be outside steaming and brushing this afternoon. I have been wearing a newer (to me) vtg. Adam un-labeled gray felt fedora. Great hat.

Now on to the hats getting brushed and steamed; I started getting vtg.Stetson OR's ready to be worn. I snapped a pic of the hats. In the pic are (r to l) Stetson 20 (silverbelly), Stetson OR 25 (silverbelly late 50's), Stetson OR 25 (tan 50's) , Stetson OR 3X (silverbelly 50's) and a Stetson 25 in gray felt (early model with oilskin tip).
