Hey everyone!
Nice hats today. I really like the Borsalino, Chamuco.
Two lid day for me, started with my latest acquisition, my 60's 3XB Open Road.

It's been muggy today, so after I sweated up the OR, I switched to my freshly rebuilt moehawk original number 1. Reblocked and flanged, sweatband positioned better (I have improved immensely on my sweatband skills since I first made this one) and I un-stiffened it.

Seems to fit better with the sweat in place, and the hand of the felt is nicer without all the shellac I put in it when I first made it.

T: good job, Dr. Jones!

Joao: I like the feather too, nice contrast.

Chamuco: looking sharp!

David: always love seeing Bob's work..

Moe: nice OR!

My mom was wondering when I was ever going to wear my John Wayne hat. I figured it's kind of an eye grabber (at least in my neck of the woods), so I might as well just roll with it and wear a similarly eye grabbing shirt.

TY, Jared! It is quickly becoming one of my favories.
The JW hat does not look nearly as big to me nowasays, as I have gotten used to Joao's brims, but the shirt IS as described!:)

Well done Dr. Jones!

Thank you Rodolfo. I do not enjoy feathers on my hats. I just tolerate some. If they fly away with a gust of wind, I'm not running after them.

Started my weekend with my Black Sheep milan.
Nice to see this one getting more and more head time!

Joao: I like the feather too, nice contrast.
On this one I still tolerate it.

Finally the John Wayne hat appears! Flashy shirt also ;)

Chamuco, the OR is/was silverbelly, but has been "kissed" by the sun over the last 50 years or so. It is now a uniform silvery grey, but when I took it apart the inside of the crown and under the ribbon have that distinctive tan with pinkish undertones that the silverbelly is known for. I tried pouncing off the surface to get to the original color, but it went deep and the felt is thin and lightweight so I just decided to enjoy it as is.:)
