I don't have a hat to wear on Cinco de Mayo that seems to fit the occasion. However, I have a hat that brings *New* Mexico to mind...

Charlie, Perry, Dale, Tommy, MiamiB, than ks for the compliments!

Steve, fabulous color on that one. Looks very soft.

Tommy, that is a fantastic looking Borso. I'm like you....gonna take it easy on the vintage hats in the warmer weather. I'd hate to lose a sweat.

Michael, looking dashing as ever. Sweet Strat!

Mark, nice pork pie. I like the brim curl.

Perry, awesome OR. Sweet tie to boot!!

Tommy, that is one nice looking hat. I don't have any Borsalinos, yet, but that may sway me. It's a great color.
S4C, I hadn't even thought of it being Cinco de Mayo. As you can see below, I picked the wrong continent, today.

Today my Tonak Colombo. I may have introduced a couple of straws so far, but not giving up on the felts, either.

Moon-I've got a Brewster too and wear it a lot in the summer. Not ready to give up the felts yet.

I agree... I'm not ready to give them up just yet either .... but when sweat bands start sticking to my forehead I feel the need for straw

Moon, the Brewster looks nice.

thank you sir

Moontheloon I really like that Stetson. The thin leather trim is classic. How big is the brim on that one? Looks bigger than a stingy, but not too big.

it's a 2 3/8 brim

nice and light weight and breathes really well ... almost can't feel it on your head

These straws and lighter colors are great! Tommy, your Alessandria rocks!

Moon, that Brewster looks really good on you!

Steve, you keep surprising me with wonderful hats I've never seen before!

Today, a large loose-weave mesh-lines summer linen 8-dart cap from Varry Simonds.

Greg, that cap is fantastic!
I'll try not to bore you all by giving a different angle to the same hat I've been wearing all week.

Ps. The Stetson Fur Felt Brewster is lightweight and has a cloth sweat.
