I feel a little guilty not to praise all the well covered heads.

I have been staying away from the lounge due to fear of bankrupting myself. The more beautiful hats that I see, the more that I want to buy. I struggle with impulse control when it comes to hats. But heck, I guess that its better than excessively drinking and gambling.

This one is the first that I have acquired since last spring and my first modern custom made hat. It was made by a gentleman named Scott from Wisconsin. He says that he takes no orders but makes hats whenever he gets the whim. He does it well.

The hat is 100 percent beaver, incredibly soft and my new favorite.

I think this hat was refurbed sometime before I got it and the bow was not redone as artfully as it could have. I may have to touch it up

I'm a guest lecturer at Utah Valley University today, wearing a vintage Stetson of unknown origin. The sweatband had been replaced when I got it. (The hat came off when the students came in.)
