Thanks folks for the comments! Jaunty - you are too flattering - stingies fit you great too. And that Mazda...I see you do like Japanese things! Oh, and the difference between an Optimo and VS - like a Mercedes and an old Aston Martin. You can`t go wrong with the Mercedes, but you love the old Aston, and once you collect a few, you cannot stop...!

Metropod - YOU`re the classic king of style.

Carter, as for the sandals, they are traditional farming sandals (see waraji on wiki) worn many years ago.

Cheers!

Thanks R! And thanks to the Carter, as well...;)

Gene -- that Stetsonian is killer. Man, is that a great lookin' lid. I think the Stetsonian is one of those Stetson hats that transformed itself over the years. The old ads seem to indicate that the style of the Stetsonian differed at different points in time. I'll try to drum up a few ads to illustrate. But my favorite is the one you have, Gene. :eusa_clap

Cheers,
JtL

Really nice hats and photos guys! IC, I like that Peter's Bros. That curved brim fits you to a T.

Gene and JTL, those Stetsons are fabulous! I especially like the wide binding on that Stetsonian, Gene.

Carter, thats a beautiful brown and the wide ribbon sets it off well.

Okay, a bit late reply, I know. I just need more time to hop on here.
Thank you, Jimmy. Those snow shots were awesome, btw!

Carter, you and the others are really convincing me that I need to get myself a bound edge (and need to wear it as a bound edge. :) )

And of course, the many great hats within that timespan have been magnificent to see! IC, hope you got the job. RBH, your hats just don't look bad ever. HPG, it's like a neverending supply of cool looking hats from you.

Great hats from many others, too!

Everyone. Terrific stuff. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

It's a bit snug. They only had a 59 when I picked it about back in the 90's. My noggin is a 60. Given that I've had this stored for a long time I guess it's probably smaller than a 59 as well...

I have a headache ;)

Inauguration Hat

My ancient Stetson. And I'm wearing a tie for the first time in YEARS. Considering re-entering society. Hence the half-smile. We'll see....

This is the one you should go with!

:arated: Agreed! That's the one.

Deanzat, go for it! Society's not that bad when you
know where to look. Hope it's working out for you. :D

Got a shot of the liner/sweatband?

I said, "ancient," but it's really from the early 90s. Last time I felt connected.

But connected to what?

So I walked through my little town to get lunch. Two people asked if I was going "to rehearsal." A young woman on a bicycle shouted that I looked sharp, but I suspect she was humoring the old man. I'll take it anyway...

deanzat, That young lady was correct. Your Stetson does look sharp. You look sharp under it as well.

IC, The color of that Buckaroo hatters model is wonderful. What is it?

Billy & Tone, Thanks for the recommendation.
