Okay. It's been a while gents! So, my new connection Historyteach24 and me not only share classroom experiences but as a special request, he asked I share my new acquisition from him...Knox in the house!! Gonna take some getting used to wearing Homburg lids. But I thank him for having this one available to try! ;)

Hey there buddy! Good to see you back. The Homburg is a very good look for you. That definitely works.

A mid 1930s Stetson No.1 Quality... the first Stetson western I purchased, it encouraged me to look for others. One end of the 3 cord ribbon is tucked behind - came that way and I've left it so.

Good to see New Jack & RClark back around. NJ you rock that 'burg like it was made for you. RC that's a beauty!

Western Hat Wearer that's a classy City Limits.

Joao you and WHH are really making me want a new western model. Besides my Open Road, all mi e are straw. I like the leather jacket/cowboy hat combination.

Ofcoursemyhorse you rock the bowlers. Nice collection you have acquired, they really work well for you.

Alan - can you show the whole hat? :)

Tons of great hats last couple of days guys. I've been too busy with the cold snap to comment. Hopefully some of those frozen pipes will help out with a new hat.

Joao - Love the colour and bash on the Stetson, but the band on the Akubra is brilliant.

NewJack - That Homburg looks great on you. I really like the colour and ribbon combo.

alan - The ribbon on that hat is superb. +1 on seeing the whole hat.

Karakul (not fish fur) yesterday and today Need to keep remaining brain cells warm. Time to pull out the ushanka. Getting better, can walk with just a cane.

Charlie--a belated congrats on the recent addition to your famille.

Jack, Alan, Perry, nice lids, gents.

Richard--I can sympathize with the need to warm up the remaining gray cells. It's part of the reason I went back to wearing a hat every day. I'm not sure it's working......

NewJack, that’s a great looking homburg and it looks good on you.

OCMH, that was a great looking derby yesterday, I love the color.

MadHatter, you are rocking that Goorin.

Joao, nice westerns today, did you bash the crown yourself on the Akubra?

G.durand, that’s a great open road.

Hatophile, I love the Fed IV, (it’s my favorite every occasion fedora)

CaseChopper, Greg & Harv, thanks for the compliments yesterday.

A very snappy collection of headwear again today, men.
wearing my brown Fed IV today

That's a great looking brown fed, LT.

Joao, a 3-hat day. I'd be OD'ing if I could pull that off. And, Greg, that's a good look on you. As for me, I went to the local soccer club match. Not a fedora or anything vintage, but I wore their retro cap.

Great variety today, gents! My wife needed to return some things she bought last week, so we went shopping again back to the same mall...

Today with the Cavanagh "Kennedy" -- in spite of all the artificial lighting in that first photo, it does capture the subtle dark clay-brown shade of the Cavanagh. Silky hand, light weight, and keeps its shape. It's my favorite felt.

I re-shaped my misfit Royal (not) 'Deluxe' Stratoliner and gave it a cattleman's crease (for now). I tried to give it a Rooster Cogburn crease, but there's not enough crown [huh]

Welcome back and you wear it well.

Nice No.1!

As long you don't end trimming the brim ;)
It have been too cold for leather jackets but yesterday (and today) was a bit warmer.

Joao - Love the colour and bash on the Stetson, but the band on the Akubra is brilliant.
I don't recall if the blue Stetson had that bash when it arrived to me. The hatband on the Akubra is stock.

Karakul (not fish fur) yesterday and today Need to keep remaining brain cells warm. Time to pull out the ushanka. Getting better, can walk with just a cane.
That I would put on outrageous hats thread.
Nice to see you.

Joao, nice westerns today, did you bash the crown yourself on the Akubra?
Thank you. No, that Akubra was second hand (but it came from Australia) and already had that bash. I liked it so did not changed it.
