Back from the last few days of excitement; I've received a promotion to "Zaide!" Greeting my first Grandson on Tuesday with my oxblood VS.


I insisted on a selfie... and how does a baby only hours old smile so nicely?!

A simple hat. My black Bailey Fairbanks. It's cheap, wool, crushable, and warm... great for a day like today (12 degrees when I got up this morning). Pictured here on my daughter, since she's prettier than me!

S4C, the caribou color looks good on you. Does that one have a welted edge?

1mach1 - it's an underwelt, so from the top the finish looks almost like a Cavanagh edge.

School was called off for dangerous wind chills. Had to ship a hat that I repaired to a non-lounger and had to bundle up against the negative 15 wind chill. This is my thinnest ribbon, a CRM in a nice chocolate brown.
