Just when I thought being an empty nester makes one less aware of such events... Thank you very kindly, Alan, in your Happy Hanukah Holiday Hommy. Outstanding lid!

Thanks Charlie. I admire your dusty black beauty as well. We have four candles to light before our kids are home for the holidays. Enough time to demolish the Zabar's gift basket that my dad sent today!

Interesting Barbisio. Very classic Lobbia.
Ali rolè e orlatura di proporzioni contenute. This is the Italian way to describe the Lobbia. Not so easy to translate with a proper meaning.
They produce it also in these days.
Buona Festa della Luce!

Good afternoon fellows. Sleet, and 2"of snow cover our ground. White Holidays are back on. The expected cool and breezy temps find me hatted in my new vtg. Stetson Whippet this afternoon.

Thank you Steve for the information on the J. Heinr. ITA,
Some of the models on the catalogue are fantastic!
Sometimes I wonder why they are not still made today
Eric, Whippet and mutton in the snow are a vision of winter.

The mouton looks delightful, but I'm highly allergic. As my dad used to say, "I'd get the heebie-jeebies!"

Greg I haven't heard about anyone getting the Heebee jeebees (sp?) in decades. Thanks for the flashback!

Oh, amazing look in that vintage lid today. Just amazing!

Eric the Whippet IS the widest brim you own! Great coverage under there, keeping the collar covered. AGAIN, Alan's right, a mountain of moutin... or is it a mile of pile?! Either way, just super!
