This Stetson Nutria started out as a size 7 Western. John Galt resized it to a 7 1/8 LO and converted it to a fedora. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Thanks John....

Ha! Thanks buddy. 2 3/4 is still a pretty decent width for a fedora. I really like Nutria felt. I'd like to get a few more.

A great display of hats all round today. Since my collection is rather limited, I'm afraid my posts are somewhat repetitive. Anyway, I put my Bates beaver roll up through the proper travel test. After 21 hours flying time (plus a one and a half hour transfer) spent partially rolled in my rucksack, it literally just popped back into shape, so I'm very happy.

Ghost, it looks fabulous! I have a rollable Borsalino that looks similar. Maybe I'll try packing it too some day.

I once asked the good folks in this thread about my limited collection. I didn't want to post the same hats over and over. They were very encouraging. Basically they said "Go ahead - maybe try different angles!"

My Sunday flight, delayed til early this morning meant I headed right into the gym. I have some tired gymnasts and fellow coaches from our travels. I tossed my hat on the bush outside of the gym when I opened it this morning as I needed to bring in all of the baggage and stuff. Low and behold when I headed out for coffee a bit ago, my hat was patiently waiting. Hats have patience!
