For the longest time, I was content to have just one Strat'. When I saw this one going cheap (likely due to the lack of real Stratoliner insignia inside - see New Hats post) I went for it.

It's the color combo I like the most. The photos show it very accurately. Like an eggplant burgundy/brown with iron grey grosgrain.

I have numerous western hats at 4" that I wear at horse shows but prefer 3.5 to 3 around the ranch = fit & feel better plus don't seem to get the brim knocked around in the truck & doing stuff... gtd

Statesman hat (all Australian hand made) rabbit fur. Really beat up now as it's been used and abused (even used it to hold water in it to shave from), but I love it and it's as tough as anything out of Oz..:eusa_clap
