Great hats today, gents... Alan, I love the pictures you posted, it's always good to spend time with the family :)

Today I wore my Borsalino hat.

...Whiskey VS this morning.
A beautiful hat that I covet every time I see it!

A pair of fine looking gentlemen! :eusa_clap
I concur. They've both aged a little, but otherwise haven't changed much; obviously owed to lives well lived. :eusa_clap

Wait a minute...are those Mimosas??? Alan, were you old enough to drink when that photo was taken? :D

Alan, very nice photos of you and your dad.
HB3, nice Borso. I'm trying to place the setting. Lake Houston?
Alex, now that you're in the whiskey club I would imagine the covetousness is diminishing a bit. :)
Congrats on the new CRM.

g.durand - the VS is perfect in the surroundings. Just a wonderful photo.
Great photo Alan. You are fortunate to still have a parent with you. Both of mine are gone. It's been just over a year since mom passed, and I still think about her nearly daily.

I've been a bit under the weather this week. Unfortunate, as we've had some of the finest weather we've had in a very long time. Decided to get outside this morning, but will probably spend most of the day lounging and reading.

Nice profile on the 50s Stetson, Andy

In a rush this P.M. I apologize for not having time to comment on each wonderful hat individually. In any event you guys look great...I tried my hand at reshaping a Panama. It's definitely not as easy to work with as felt. The hat started out with a low tapered crown just under 4 inches tall. I was able to square up the sides and raise the crown height to 4 1/2 inches tall at the pinch. I sewed on a medium brown mid-ribbon with a double bow. The stitches attaching the bow are hidden...more pics in the Conversion Corral...

It looks nice, well done.

-----

Yesterday was a 2 hat day. As I was missing my wider brimmed black hats I started the day with this old Stetson

Went to dinner at a friends house so I took this brown Stetson

Today I started with my first Stetson. The ribbon is getting my "hair grease" that is in the felt. It is almost unnoticeable at sight but the photo reveals it's getting worst.

My friends wanted to take a ride on the West coast so to be more... flashier... I choose this Stagecoach. Even with wind it stayed on my head so it was a perfect choice.

TJ, I like your taste and your style! Your brim sizes appeal to me and they way set upon your cranium! :eusa_clap Loungers Loungers like yourself who dabble in hat making and/or design inspire me. I think I know what I'd like to do as a hobby as I move into my late fall years!

All great lids today, everybody!! :eusa_clap
