If you haven't trimmed it...

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me...I'm going to cut the brim down to a stingy 2 inches! That'll look real good! ;)

Nice Billy the Kidd Stetson btw....I could make a real nice fedora conversion out that one!....Cut that brim down to about 2 1/4 inches and you'd have a nice one there! :D

Well it's your hat. If you are going to sell it, let the buyer choose brim side.

Yes you could but you will not do it, nor will I. I have a hat with 3" brim and... it's too short :( I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.

Nice hats today guys but it's a little slow here so I'll add my Tesi sisal straw fedora.

Michael & Javier - nice straws.
Terry - looks good, hope you find a good home for it.
Hatguy1 - that's crusty!
David - nice VS
Joao - nice Stetson
John - How well does the sisal cope with an unexpected shower? I'm tempted to try sisal.

---

Turned cold and wet here... Christy's Melton 8-piece (and sweater :( ):

I haven't had this hat soaked yet but I don't think water would affect this type of straw like it would tequila. I don't think sisal is that absorbent.

Yesterday

Che, Thanks! Great OR light weight! Also Moco looking sharp in 20's 30's De Luxe cap!

Today

Javier, Great to see the Dobbs Milan in action!

Terry, Great crown height on the conversion. Like the ribbon color.

David, Your VS Sportaire brings a ray of light!

Joao, Really like the band on your Billy the Kidd Stetson!

John, Super to see the straws! Your Tesi Sisal is a winner!

Richard, Fantastic look as usual! Great match with Christy's Melton 8-piece! Sorry about the weather.

Good chilly morning from Central Ohio, Gents! Looks like I'll be the first to post this a.m.

gear-guy, dh66, Mystic, Richard, masyerwegener, Thanks guys. I appreciate your comments on my Western / Fedora from yesterday. Also from yesterday....

David, I really like the VS Sportaire with the mid-ribbon. Great looking hat!

Joao, As always, You, the King of the Westerns, came up with another fine Western. The Stetson 4X BK looks great on you.

Richard, I love the combo with the cap, jacket, and sweater. That's a great look!

gear-guy, Definitely straw weather! How wide is the brim on your Dobbs? They look really good on you.

I'm the first poster of the day in WHAYWT! On this Sunday a.m. I'm wearing my Black Resistol Stagecoach Western / Fedora conversion. This is the only Black hat I ever liked, (I'm not just saying that because I converted it)! ;) I was going to give it to my son but it was too small for him. It fits me perfect so I'm keeping it!

Oh the irony hat...

This is what it used to look like before I converted it...
Thank you for reminding me of how it looked (are you trying to haunt me?). It looked much more awesome before the conversion. A pity it got killed to my eyes.

Almost forgot to post this:
For today this stingy Dobbs West with Richards stagecoach hatband and pin.

My everyday hat. Akubra bushman. Tried to crease it like 1889 Campaign hat. Like the weight, material, and ribbon edged brim. Wear felt year round! Never without a hat! One of my pups happened to rip out the liner one morning when I laid it down where I shouldn't have! LOL!
