hatguy--nothing like having an old trusty fedora to turn to.

Andy--I know how you feel about the vintage OR. I like my Campdraft, but when it comes to wearing a nice quality felt hat, those old ORs can't be be topped (no pun intended).

David--the Natalsca is sublimely beautiful.

Joao--I don't mind the hatband on the Beaver Brand. I saw a gentleman last night at a restaurant here in California who had a similar lid with a similar hatband. He had it sitting on the table next to his dinner plate. I was cringing thinking about food splashing on that beautiful hat, but it was his hat so I suppose he knew what he was doing.

Matt--you may be new to posting the Lounge, but you are incredibly up-to-speed on your hat collecting. I am enjoying seeing what you have and today is no exception. Nice Pilgrim.

BlackMaskPulp--not bad at all. Good save on the Biltmore.

Alan--a fine sport, raking leaves. Fortunately for me, my sporting days may be over. A fitting lid there, too.

Manfred--Che took the words away from me. But I'll say it again, that is an awesome photo of an awesome hat and coat combination.

Che--I though I saw Jack Kerouac strolling up Grant Avenue behind you. Oh wait, it's not 1953. Great look with the jacket and the brim up.

purplesage--very nice.

This morning there was no choice but to stroll out in the newest addition, a pristine almond colored Playboy.

Me too.......all the time. My house is a few blocks from where I'm standing. Also, if anyone has ever seen the movie "Fried Green Tomatos" (early 80s, I think), the restaurant that figured so prominently in the story is across the tracks right behind me. It's kind of surprising to me the amount of tourists it still draws to the area.

Good afternoon Gents! You guys all look great!

Manfred, The Derby looks awesome on you!
Che, The Royal Stetson and leather jacket make for a nice combination!
Purplesage, The R.S. Deluxe looks awesome! I like that hat!
g.durand, Love the Playboys! You wear it well my friend!
dh66, You wear the Stingies well my friend!...a good look for you!

On this chilly afternoon from Central Ohio I'm sporting my 3X Open Road. This is a size 7. I cut the stitching at the back of the sweat to make it fit better...still a little tight but wearable...

Just got home from Mullets in Movember - a Movember charity event at the Manchester Monarchs hockey game. This a an annual event that is great fun and raises $$ for research info men's cancer.

I was wearing my Simonds cap to go with my new mullet. Ironically, I had a similar hair style back in the 80's :)
