Charlie, if you're that bored, I have few things I could use some help with. Work has been a killer so not much Lounge time lately. Kudos to all for all the great hats from the last few days.

And if you want tilt, here's some tilt.

Other tilts of today, my first fedora, a Lee (did I say I was bored?)

...Al(exander) this is the first headshot I've seen with your Fed... it IS the perfect hat for you. Do you ever try giving 'er a slight tilt?
Thank you Sir, you're far too kind. I have tried the tilt--briefly--but find it uncomfortable for extended wearing. Besides, I don't have the gift of smirk that comes so naturally to you. ;) More often than not I do wear it pushed further back on my head, but I wore it lower for the photo because the angle was better for showing off the overall dimensions.

Today it cooled off a little and I broke out my recently purchased cavanaugh edged Dobbs. I really like the olive color of this hat, it's so versatile.

You rock that hat no matter how it sits Zombie_61! As I said, it just looks like really own that one.
g.Durand I don't remember this one... as comfy as it looks? What's the brim width?
Steve do you have a problem with people wanting to touch that luscious velour? Just beautiful!
TJones, I'm with Orangegrad... Powerful hat. Super combo!
dh66 that's a stingy to be reckoned with, man! Nice find.

Great hats today AND yesterday gents! Steve, great Rockel, you wear dark hats with aplomb. I'm sporting my workhorse Lock & Co on my way to see Bob at BSHW. I've missed my favorite local hatter but he's back in town again so time to support the local economy :)

I like the locke & co. Mike. It's a great color. Nice looking sweater too. Is that Thor's hammer around your neck?

Tomb you ever find good hats at the fleas and second hands down in south Bama like Mattcrunk found up in the northern part? I've never come a cross much of anything worth having here in the middle.

I come back after a couple of hours and waddaya know? More interesting hats! Thanks for the comments on the VS--it's the latest acquisition and I really like it. Art nailed it (again).

hRm--The VS a 2.5 inch brim but it doesn't look it, does it? Below I'm wearing my Lee Corral, which has the same brim width but has a different look. It could be the high front crease on the VS that makes the brim look narrower. But I'm not sure. An optical illusion that perhaps only Art can explain.
Nice Lee by the way. It must be quite the old friend.

T Jones--the tall crown Bradford---excellent look, sir.

mw--beautiful deep color on the Rockel.

dh66--nice '60s Dobbs to go along with the '60s Ford behind you. And I remember my first pair of glasses in the '60s looked a lot like those you're wearing. (couldn't grow a goatee in those days, though ;))

mike--like the Lock & Co. Can you let us in on what you're going to get from BSHW?

Later today, keeping the Silverbelly theme going.

It's definitely an optical illusion caused by the way each hat is shaped. For example, in our current avatars Blackthorn and I are both wearing our Tawny Fawn Fed IVs:

At a glance the brim on Blackthorn's looks narrower, but when you compare the two more closely you notice the real difference is in the shape of the crowns, his being taller; it's the difference in proportions that make the brim on his hat appear narrower.
