Keith, very nice Cap. The blue color is indeed a eye catcher!

David, nice Strat for a moving day! I hope your daughter is happy with her new apartment!

Richard, truly very rare. A nice hat. I like the longer brown hair on it!

Eric, I like your relaxed photos of you and your hat! Killer smoke!!

Alan, a beauty! The felt looks smooth and soft, splendid!!

Sam, a classic look with the Wegener Melone!

Perry, looks great with Vitafelt also the jacket, nice combination!

Andy, very nice Banjo for today!

Today it's FINALLY cool outside!! I love the fall, its my favorite season. Even though its not technically fall quite yet, I still love the cool weather mostly because I run hot all the time. Today I'm wearing my 1950's Resistol Open Road Clone.

Great color on the VS, Eric! I'm loving the Strat/Jean Jacket combo. :eusa_clap

Thanks sir. This is the first jeans jacket (Pendleton) I have ever owned. I am still working to wear the jacket and not feel like an urban-cowboy.

I enjoyed your guitar pics. You and your electric appear to have spent a lot of time together. Individual guitars, like hats are very personal. Collect them in health, Eric -

L'chaim! :cheers1:

Thanks for the kind words, Josh.... L'chaim to all as well... Shabbot shalom!

And for today/tomorrow, may you (all) be inscribed for health, fortune, and of course, lots of hats in the upcoming year... Whatever your affiliation!

Amen!

I think the jacket looks great on you and doesn't make you look like an Urban Cowboy at all. When I was a kid, my father always wore a Jean Jacket in the fall. I have fond memories of him wearing it at Pumpkin patches, cub scout camping trips, etc. I think the only time they start to become "Urban Cowboy looking" is when they are studded with rhinestones or some sort of western motif stitching.

Thanks very much for the kind words about my guitar pics. My father bought me that guitar for my 8th grade graduation....which was QUITE a while ago. LOL. I have spent years playing it and have enjoyed "breaking it in." Its a 1996 50th Anniversary Fender American Standard. I have played Gibsons, and Gretchs, etc, but this Strat has just the right tone for all the Blues, Jazz, and Classic Rock I play. I have owned many acoustics through the years, but have always sold them because I can't seem to get the right sound from them that I want. My favorite acoustic of all time is actually one that my father owns. Its a mid-90's Gibson Gospel. Its different than many acoustic guitars because there is no back bracing. Its a carved back that was left unbraced, so the sound is very full and vibrant. I just don't have the heart to take/buy it from him. He's offered to give it to me, but I always say no. :)
